Four EZ steps:
(1) plant and grow crops
(2) harvest crops and store in on-farm bins
(3) contract stored crops on local cash market for delivery before next year's harvest starts
(4) repeat steps 1,2,3 every year.
Attached graphic shows progress to date on 2013 crops marketing plan. 2013 crop beans were all contracted under Nov 22 2013 bids for delivery in Dec 2013. No 2013 crop corn has been contracted or delivered to date.
