I'm not familiar with the auction however I would not draw any wide reaching agricultural land conclusion from whatever price as most of the land in and around Sycamore is sooner or later going to be development land. The town has doubled in size in the past few years. Houses were built on some of the best corn ground in the world.  The recession slowed it down for awhile but as the housing market picks up again....
