Nebraska aka the boondocks | better not talk like that, someone will accuse you of trying to kill the crop 10x over before February and wonder what it has to do with marketing... Nonetheless it is dry out west, and we haven't had moisture since, I don't know when. Ever since this dry pattern started in 1998 or so, it doesn't matter how much moisture we receive, the drainage ditches are dry and we are a month from sawdust. Pretty sad when you have to water young trees in nov and dec., so they make it the next year. |
