Subject: RE: Wealth

Yep well stated.

The only real sources of "new wealth" in my notion are oil, minerals, metals and other mined materials as well as raw commodities, such as but not limited to wheat, corn, beans, oats, sugar rice, coffee, sugar and seafood like salmon or Alaskan crabs. Items that are either extracted from the earth or or are directly produced from using inputs from the earth.

Everything else is a drain to siphon the real new wealth away. The move away from manufacturing, industry & hard physical work has hastened this decline. Now everyone wants easy "service" jobs or paper pushing jobs where nothing real or tangible is created. Thing is without real wealth nobody can afford all these "services" so it becomes a circular and escalating spiral down. With less real wealth there is less available for services which decreases service jobs which leads to less money for even more services.

The only thing that seems to expand is bogus promises and endless re-hypothecation/securitization of debts and promises and endless ways to run new ponzi schemes to skim off the real wealth.

What happens when people finally figure out those bonds/debts are never going to be repaid and are just worthless bits of paper not even worth the pulp and ink used to print them.

Does that put real wealth producers at risk of confiscation to feed the machine ?  or do prices of those items go nuts as everyone tries to get a hold of something real and tangible.

The time of the quickening is at hand.
