Lewisburg, PA | Sold some more corn to wengers big buyer. Local broker price was $4.45. They were offering $4.60 deliver this week for no smaller then 3k contracts. I asked her about feb march an june and july. They said RIGHT NOW they need to get through the two next weeks!!! Then they would talk that time frame. I emailed her back and said how about 10,000 for $4.65 for this week? She sent me the contracts!!!! So I fired up number two truck to start hauling!!! SOOOO this got me think HERE in our area anyway it seems the welded doors is working quite well. I know of one other buyer there has been NO problem sneaking in as many loads as I want . LAST year two if your lucky per week. SO once the corn starts to roll there is a big whole to fill and a hungry appetite to chew through it . I don't think there will be the back up at the mills so haul when ever you want so you can wait to price when you get your price. Weve moved about 16000 bhl the last two weeks , last year we might of got 3000 moved.. | |
