| So I have continued doing some fun analysis on Iowa land values and had some charts to share. The first is how CSR and CSR 2 differ on a county basis - note, the biggest change is up in the NW Corner, which no longer gets a yield penalty for being (relatively) colder and drier. The more fun chart is the land value change per county with the new system. Fun fact - if CSR2 were assessed like CSR, only farmers in Tama County would lose any land value (on average).
Of course, people will adapt in assessing land CSR2 vs CSR and I doubt there will be much of a price bump. Still fun to look at though. |
