| here is the strangest situation you ever heard of. A freezer in the utility room runs pretty much all the time. It backs against the bedroom wall or the adjoining wall,,,however you wish to describe that. The motor is a little noisy BUT as it echoes and vibrates thru the wall,,,in the bedroom at night it is more like a freight train. Sometimes 3 to 5 times as loud as other times. Seems vibrations get all together.
Is there a type of sound deadening board one could slip between the freezer and the wall??? Maybe a board that a fireplace sets on for heat reflection
Anything that would cut the noise to half or a third would be drastic improvement. Any suggestions? | |
