| Ag Leader tech support is telling me they think this will work... Is anyone doing it.. I have a PTO pump on a truck chassis sprayer, flow control is mechanical (output varies with speed) and has been working for 10 years this way with no problems (other than the cramp in the foot from holding the throttle). I am thinking about going to the EZ boom on my EZ steer / 500 arrangement. But I am concerned about the flow control device (valve) being able to handle the changes in output from the pump as RPM changes slightly going down or up the field.. Tech support cannot tell me if a fast or std flow control valve would be better in this case.
Is anyone running the EZ boom with a PTO pump that varies output slightly like this application? and is it working?
Thanks for the advice - if it's good! :) | |
