From the news release 2012 "In total, the technology is approved for cultivation in Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the United States and for import in Australia, Belarus, the European Union, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia and Taiwan."
A couple of thoughts, European Union approval is the toughest nut to crack, actually impossible for the longest time and how well will argentina and brazil segregate the corn produced with the viptera trait so it doesn't enter their export market?
As far as affect on the market, first reports were around nov 22(?) of rejections here's the march14 chart
