Just make sure its one that uses rechargable batteries and the memory card/stick can be used separately from the camera to dowload pics. If you have to use the camera to download it takes a lot of battery to git-r-done. Depending on where your going to be using it, check on a extended maintenance package. Dust is a cameras biggest enemy and a yearly cleaning goes a long ways.
