What is Chris Christie and Hillary Clinton's view on ethanol & biofuels? Either one will need Iowa, Ohio & Illinois to win in 2016. Can unhappy corn farmers in Illinois muster enough votes to reverse the trend and block Hillary despite Chicago? Did Illinois go Democrat just because Obama is from there? Hillary needs Pennsylvania to win as well, Christie is from right next door.
Corn farmers have all the leverage they need to defend ethanol and biofuels if they just have the sense to use it.
Illinois is strongly a blue state, do you think it has anything to do with farming and ethanol?
Lots of welfare there, and it will not change.
Iowa has been Dem. 3 out of the last 4 years. PA and Ohio are at play, as they have been 50:50 in
the last 4 Pres. elections.
The farm vote is now very slim, and now the support for ethanol is waning.
