Kingston,Mi
Youngest brother spent a lot of years in Germany primarily with engineers or transportation units, one unit had a potable water heater built on a 5 ton. Some genius took a 25 pound coffee can, braised a copper pipe thru the side, made a couple of loops then back out the side with both ends eventually connected to the truck engine. They braised a valve to the bottom to draw off hot water, you could get very hot water to shave with or to make cocoa with if you provided the same volume of cold water to the top of the coffee can. He said the First Sgt. nearly snapped his head off when he saw a troop headed back to his tent with a helmet of steaming water, Top back tracked to the water heater truck and was informed of the rules, bring as much potable water as you intend to take away.
