Depends on how you define cost prohibitive. I just sold our 750 with the scale on it that had been on there for about 12 years. I'm guessing it'll cost around $3,000 or maybe a little less to buy a scale for it. Well worth the money IMO. We just put one on our 1560 20ft drill as well so I definitely believe in them.
