NC IA | I am looking at buying my first tractor, hoping to find a nice used mid-sized Deere (7810 size with MFWD) with under 5000 hours. When I go on tractorhouse or fastline, it seems like the prices vary a lot for simliar machines. I have no experience buying from a dealer, should I expect to get a certain percentage off of the advertised price? I figure every dealer is different, but from my experience buying a few smaller new items the list price is usually a lot more than the what you actually pay. Some of the tractors have worn out tires, faded paint and higher hours and they are asking the same price as another machine with similar hours, new tires and shiny paint. Makes me think there is some wiggle room in the pricing.
