I am in same boat and figured after trailer plates batteries tires mouse nests it is better for me to give ryder 1800 for 3 werks rent and get a new tractor I know will work when I need it. Then again I only need it for harvest. But I have learned thst farmers like to own stuff they don't need. Worth thinkin about.
