| I see the "other" site mention the above. Was thinking the same myself right or wrong, just a tool in the box. Finished putting some on this AM after I figured we set a bottom Fri. Basis may narrow but I save storage on unpriced bushels. I wasn't sure basis would narrow much after harvest with prices rising since each increase would be met with farmer selling. My suspicions were confirmed and basis widened since Friday "here" by $.02. So glad I did lock some in Friday. Will probably price it by the first week in Jan. and defer the income but have until Feb. to price it but I would rather smash my hand with a hammer than sell in Feb. most years. Always regret either. | |
