| I guess I see more or less a not so great economy and wonder where the indicators are. Hearing glen beck, sean and probably others advertising gold line, etc, I was thinking it was more about lots of smaller investors. Just a guess.
I also think this has some bearing on our grain markets going forward. My first thought is we are heading for cost of production prices for a long time because we are growing plenty just like in the 90's. We would have some brief opportunities if we were fortunate enough to be in a position to sell. However, generally we farmers do well in poor economic times and if those times can be extended I guess I could see investment return to ag because of lack of choices. The thing is the media seems to be wanting to report happy days are here again and with huge S&P and DJ numbers they have the appearance of being correct. | |
