Subject: RE: New bearing race turns in hub

Chilliwack BC
We did our Lx465 last month and it was loose. We used red loctite and it set up tight within 2 minutes.

There was another thread about this a couple weeks ago and got me thinking. This is an uncommon style of hub as there is another seal between the 2 bearings. With a sealing surface in the middle of the hub, maybe it doesn't allow the notches for a punch to drive the old one out, so they purposely machine it a loose fit. 3 different series coverng at least a dozen years have this "problem" so it likely isn't a lazy machinist on a Friday afternoon.

Keep the parts you have and don't yell at the parts people over this.
