central mich | Interesting but I am not surprised at all. I spent several years in the financial district of NYC and always wondered, "Why is all the money here in NYC?" While in NYC I did met W. Clement Stone, and Morris Greenberg of AIG/CV Starr.
Two books that I would recommend to anyone interested in stocks and bonds is "The Predators Ball" (I am quite familiar with the Executive Corp/Executive Life bankruptcies) and for grains "The Merchants of Grain". I think these books will confirm that very few people control a lot of the wealth and a lot of the wealth is gained by machinations of the system.
