Mid-Missouri | I have read some of the posts about your new tires and mileage. I have an idea (nothing new) that you could experiment with. The problem is it will take some work on your part.
Get your old tires and wheels. Find a big hill on a highway and use some tech tools like gps. Put your truck in neutral at the top of the hill. With one set of tires and inflation pressure, see how far the truck will go in neutral. Record the top speed, total distance, etc... Do this multiple times and then do the same for the other set of tires. Play around with the psi. Again this will take some time but it might help gain some knowledge of the topic. | |
