Alberta Farmer - 10/20/2013 22:55 Tink, on your sugar vs corn chart, I see that the previous time the two charts crossed after a long period of significant divergence(around March 2009) it was the beginning of a long term bull for both.

Yes, I should have highlighted, but that is thrust of my opinion.

So, am I reading too much into your posts, or do you believe that we will destroy all faith in the present currencies through inflation in the next few years, benefiting commodities, followed by the inevitable collapse, wiping the slate clean, at which point true growth can once again occur without the burden of inflationary policies and impossible levels of debt hanging over all economies? With no more need for an inflation hedge, commodities return to their place as raw materials whose price is dictated by supply and demand, investment goes to businesses that create things rather than just chasing the latest bubble, and the fun is over for a long time once again?

Yes, again, and I think you've said it well.

When it comes to expanding wealth, manufacturing rules the world.
