I'd say the game is almost over and the Chinese have probably just about had enough of watching their investments evaporate through QE and they are ensuring they are well prepared for what happens next. Probably also positioning themselves to become the worlds reserve currency. If/when that happens things are going to get extraordinarily bad here.
