DeKalb, IL | I've had a similar thing happen, but could get to Safe mode where I could use Add-Remove programs to uninstall the offending update. Turned out quite a bit later that the offending incompatibility was an older version of Norton AntiVirus. Once that was replaced, the updates for Win 2000 installed flawlessly. If you can't get to Safe mode, though, I'm not sure how you'd proceed--but maybe someone else here can be of more help. | |
