NW KS | I suffered from bad heartburn for a while, finally went to a doctor. He prescribed Kapidex. I took that for a couple months maybe. It helped immensely, and that was 5 years ago and haven't suffered nearly as badly since. Probably coincidental, as Kapidex just reduces acid in the stomach until you stop taking it.
I agree in losing weight if you are overweight will help, it did with me. Also, I just kind of steer clear of the bad foods anymore to some extent. Unfortunately I don't believe there is a magic solution out there that is going to totally clear it up in most cases. I was told it depends on the root cause of the issue. Really painful and frustrating, and if the acid does damage to your esophagus it can lead to further complications, such as esophageal cancer. | |
