Starbuck Manitoba Canada
I don't know anyone in the immediate area that grows dry beans so can't comment on them, but lots of soybeans up here now. Most soybeans have lost their leaves some still turning. I saw one field that was harvested, but most are a few days away. They look good in this area, most hoping for low mid forty's. We had a few 1-1.5 inch rains in August and heat to finnish them. Corn also looks good, denting or very close to it. No frost so I think the corn will make it 150+ yield for some. Our area has been blest with good weather from start to finnish, so some record yields for many. Also a great harvest as beans and corn are all that is left, a few sunnies (some late canola for me but hope to get it this week). The cool mid summer really helped. I would imagine the Edible beans are good as well. Second great year in a row for many up here, although I was not so lucky last year.
