I agree with you 1234, if there is one thing that could swing the rural Midwest to the Democrats and bury the Republican party forever it would be this ethanol issue.

The only thing easier to buy than a Republican vote is column inches from the nation's most prestigious newspapers and wire services. I wish I understood how Big Oil manages to tuck institutions like the NY Times into its front pocket. Check this from front-page of the Sunday Times (how timely right, right when some on Cap Hill are positioning to attack the RFS) (edit, just noticed Gotty posted this earlier this morning...but its FRONT PAGE in the paper edition)

I did like,
