Subject: RE: But FSA said on 8/15

Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
From Agweb 8/14/13

Here’s the commodity breakdown for prevented acres reported to FSA:

•Corn: 3.411 million
•Wheat: 1.743 million
•Soybeans: 1.619 million
•Rice: 408,737
•Cotton (ELS and upland): 218,714
•Sorghum: 173,258
•Barley: 116,067
•Oats: 12,701
•Sugar beets: 7,572

The 3.41 million acres is a hard number subject only to upward revision. In addition we already know that some dryland acres in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa originally intended for grain were chopped.

This makes the 9% acres traditionally not havested for grain more likely. Thus. 97.1 minus 3.4 is 93.7 minus 9% or 8.4 for a final harvest of 84.3. Even using your 152 bpa this is 12.8 billion bushel.
