Driftless SW Wisconsin

feelnrite - 9/10/2013 12:43 Cows will give off an odor alot of times but will be around 6-7 months bred. They will attract cows and will ride but most times the bull will walk by but will have no interest. If the bull is riding and trying to breed I would bet they are open. Most times the bull will not lie unless he is young and inexperienced.

My new registered Huth bull is "young and inexperienced". He is only 16 months old. But I'm betting they are all bred. I have only seen my bull briefly riding this last cow.

Most of the interest is on the part of a very good, mature, 5-1/2 month old spring bull calf I posted pictures of a couple months ago. He is growing quickly, good conformation, has very good SC. This guy is going to be my retained commercial bull for next year. He is a go getter.

Thank you for the information.

Jim
