SCMN | Went to pull one of our straight trucks out of the shed today and it wouldn't start. Traced down multiple electrical problems and a filthy air filter and it fired right up. One of the problems was the wire to what I assume is the fuel shut off solenoid(first picture). I am not a truck mechanic by any means, please don't laugh at me. It went from dead in the water to firing right up when I cleaned the wires and terminals on the device in the last picture...I don't know what that component is? It will fire right up and run for 20-30 seconds and then die. If I trie to restart it immediately it will crank for a while before it fires again. If I wait 5-10 seconds to restart it will fire right off. This process is repeatable. What should I be looking for next? Bad electrical component getting hot? Wire getting hot? Thanks in advance fellas.
