| The tractor we would like to pull our drill with struggles with the hydraulic requirements of the fan and down pressure. Since it has a PTO it would be fairly easy and not very expensive to just power it with a PTO pump and it would save a lot of wear and tear on the tractor hydraulics. The first place I looked had either 20 gpm or 40 gpm pumps with very little difference in price. I would like to stay with the 20 simply because supplying a 20 gpm pump as far as hose size would be much easier than the 40. I have read here several times that most estimate the requirements of the fan on the 1910 is just a little less than 20 under most conditions but I also didn't really want to have to run the engine at full throttle to get the needed output either. I know A few have done this and wondered what kind of pump output they had used and if you would do anything different. | |
