Very loaded question. Def depends on what part of the USA your in. Soil type, what points your using, and is this a 3pt or pull behind. Here in the Midwest in our clay, sure it will if you only are going 4-6" deep. But that might as well be a cultivator with chisel points on it. When we say chisel plow around here, we are talking about something like the old jd 514s that can be 20+ shanks but it'll take a 250 hp tractor to pull them. We had 2 folding 514s and had CIH 9170s on them. We were in a conventional setup plowing bean stubble. And our target was around 8-10" deep. Gotta have all your specifics before anyone can truly answer it right.
