How dose the fuel gauge act? Does it twitch and bounce around? It sounds like the fuel pump to me, every one we have had go bad on that peticulair year of truck the fuel gauge has acted funny before it quits. Also spend the ones and get the good one, they last a lot longer than an autozone cheapy.
