Why would a 100HP well take 4.5 times more electricity than 80HP?

jimgen - 9/9/2013 21:27 Mike, We are a WEG dealer and ... have not seen a 80hp electric motor in 40 years of selling motors. So if we dont know the size of the one motor then we can not offer a good comment.
Sorry, I was taking it as "I've not seen a motor that big" not "I've not seen that specific size".

3 phase motors are new to us.  We just installed our first electric pump on a new irrigator.
