Subject: Re: Miller Nitro or Hagie

I had a chance to see and drive the new 2014 Hagie and Miller recently. The Hagie was superior in my book. The Ride was no better or worse than the Miller, but the cab was larger and was laid out better. The performance was the big was the big difference. Comparing equal machine (horsepower to horsepower) the Hagie won easily. The updated rive system with integrated traction control was superior. The boom on the Hagie was also more stable (less whip) and easier to control. Serviceability on the machine was very good compared to the Miller. Can't believe Miller still shows an open topped hood in the literature. It would take you an hour just to get access to the back side of the engine. I know people always talk about service. For me it has not been an issue (on my second Hagie now). Many Miller dealers around me have been pushed out by the 'Cleansing' of product lines at large dealers.
