Maybe no goverment help on insurance. Go to private plans. Then buy what one needs. Dry ground rain insurance wet group PP insurance. The PP is a joke HERE due to it paying better than a avg crop due to lower rents. Yea a crop pays better in yrs like 2012 where prices went up but that is just gambling that could have been done on the board. If I would have PP everthing I would have make 3 to 4 times the money as I would with current prices. And I have never had a PP claim. Some here do for good reason and some milk it to death.
