Dave NWIL - 9/9/2013 06:02 Wouldn't it be easier to have ins adjuster look at them rather than run a combine thru? I have no personal knowledge of this situation, but I've had adjusters come out and tell me I had 25-30 bu corn when I knew it was more like 5. I had to run through it to 'prove' my yield was that low. Yes it cost to harvest it but it netted me more than taking the apprasial. FYI we had lots of 'nubbin' ears on a big stalk so no adjusting the plates down. They counted everyone of them as 'harvestable' when in fact they all were shattered by the corn head. |
