Western Iowa | This might be a rookie question, but a little background..
I typically aggressive forward sell when I see my target net per acre. Been spanked the last couple years so this year not a kernel of corn or beans forwarded.
With all the volatility in the market, and fears of a very short crop, I am still sitting.
For the last month or so I have decided to wait and see what the fall insurance price will give me and maneuver from there. For those that have done it as a producer it reminds me of the LDP days and trying to pick up a 0.25-0.40 on a short rally.
Anyone tell me why or why not to sell until I know the revenue number?
