Boy, that's a huge file from Purdue!

I really don't think I've ever had a hitch pin break in anything, though I'm very sure it happens. But, maybe just as important as not breaking a hitch pin, maybe safety chains should be considered. I noted the nurse tank that was being pulled broke the hitch on the tractor, from what I can see. A Gr 10 hitch pin wouldn't have helped. A safety chain attached to something other than the same drawbar would've helped.
