Dearfield Co.
done lots of playing around here.Cummins from the n14 to the common rail and ISX.Cats from the c-16 on down.Detroits series 60 both egr and non egr.and green engines.I have made one observation after using everyones box or ECM there is a common denominator in the disasters. The cummins seemed hard on the inj.The cats liked to drop tips and cause havoc. The detroits would take a 6 pack of inj and take the spray pattern out on the far bottom of the inj cycle in 200k .The last one was a 2012 cummins we messed with that logged every time we hooked a code reader to it even the so called chip was read when it was installed.Thats when I made a note in my mind how many $$$$$$ of inj and engine parts we had bought to be one of the first to back into the chute or to drag the sleds up the mountain and I was done.Ohh by the way the fuel savings on a cummins pickup to delete the regen fuel used would take almost 300000 miles to pay off
