NC KS | I believe the newer Agco headers work well without milo guards as they have the deep auger flighting and a lot of area between auger and sickle to trip the milo on to. If you look at some other headers, the sickle appears to be a few inches in front of auger which doesn't leave any room for the milo head to get caught or fall on.
I quit putting those things on 7 or 8 years ago and have seldom wanted them back. | |
