no the 9400 wont lift by it self, but will hold it fine. The 9520 does not have 3 pt just a set of hooks same spacing as quick hitch so no issues there. I use pay loader to hitch up the weights, much easier to line up than trying to do it with tractor. Yes you can lift the front end of tractor on incline with big weight on the back, but it takes a lot of weight to make it unstable, Last year we had a 8400 we used for a while with degelman blade on front. 12000 lbs concrete on 3 point, and that worked really wel too. Did stand it on its back wheels a few times, but only when finishing the pile up while trying to make the ramp as steep as possible. 8000 is about all you will want to put on a twd 4000 series deere.
