Went to an auction in 2003 and watched a very nice big Versa bagger sell for $60,000. Knew at the time that was unbelievable, but spending that money then would have caused the banker to pull the plug and it would have been the end of us farming.
Years later I paid 85k for a bagger that wasn't as good, and later got $100k for it on trade for a new bagger. That bagger I couldn't afford at auction would have been worth $150+ even after I would have ran it for 8 years.
