I will tell you one difference between this year and last from one local banker's perspective.......I am financing a lot more cattle this year than last. Last year many of the local guys did not buy feeders because they came out well just selling their $7 plus corn and taok the winter off. Not the case this year. A lot more corn is going to be run thru cattle.....at least in my neck of the prairie.
