Central Nebraska | Stock Auction and Realty owns them. And I assume they are making bank, as one of my pals would say. I sold a planter on there and they took 9% commission, if I remember correctly, on $33,000. They usually have 200-500 items on an auction. I can't remember the scale, but they charge 10%, then at a certain dollar amount, 9%, etc. But, I got a lot more for my planter than I expected. Ended up with about $8,000 more than I originally wanted for it. Lots of people cruise that site that you wouldn't reach with craigslist or the newspaper.
