Subject: Chopping forage Sorghum

East River SoDak
Plan on chopping some late planted forage sorghum this year as winter feed for the stock cows....should this be cut at about the same moisture as corn silage? Any tips for getting it at the right moisture being there's no milkline to go by? Chopping some corn silage now and thinking about just piling the sorghum right on top of the corn silage pile. Only problem is there will probably be about a 2 week gap in chopping dates.
