My 1480 with 1083 needs to be set al the way back and works out just fine. Might not even need to be that far back. I forget the angle it sets at, but it runs quite level to the ground when down all the way,
I believe someone on here mentioned the "book advised angle" several years back.
How can you tell it is too far forward? You have almost nothing to measure from of the head in the photo.(humor intended)
