Subject: RE: Ridgid cordless tools?

Eastern Iowa
I bought a 18 v Rigid drill with two lithium batteries, I'm not sure what the problem was but after about a year the batteries would not take a charge, I was also disappointed that the drill was not variable speed, I thought they all were. I have had Bosch, Milwaukee, Ryobi , Rigid, Makita in that order and all I'm using now is the Ryobi and the Makita. The Makita is pretty new, got it on a really good sale. The batteries for the Ryobi cost less than half what the other batteries cost. Plus you can get a lot of somewhat obscure Ryobi tools pretty cheap that would be very expensive in the other brands.
