Subject: Re: boomless sprayer for pasture

middle TN
I took the booms off of a 200 gallon 3-point sprayer and mounted a boomless nozzle. I just brazed a 4" x1/2' pipe nipple and mounted the nozzle onto that. 34' is probably about right, maybe a little wider. This was a brass nozzle that was on the shelf at the local co-op. I can't remember the brand, but I can k into it if you need. It does seem to be a little sensitive to winds, needs to be fairly calm to cover a full swath. It is much easier to use in my small pastures that have 1-1/2 up to6 acres per cell. Saves a lot of time that would have been spent folding and unfolding the booms. It also works good in those pastures that have a few trees scattered that would cause some problems with a boom sprayer. Jared in TN
