King City, Mo
Are you keeping the cows off after you seed it?

Mix in some clover and a few radish seeds. The radish will help break up compaction and feed the grass and wheat this spring when they decompose..Ed Winkle has me talked into seeding 1-2lbs of radish in with my wheat this fall after beans. Kinda late for em but only .5-1bu acre investment so gonna try it.

Might wanna pull a soil test and get your soil up to snuff and apply needed lime and p and k while your at it. Only cost $2x at Midwest labs. If you send it next day air on Monday they'll email you results before end of the week....

Give it a good start and sprinting off the blocks.
