You hit all the concerns I had, I ended up w/ ez steer, it is very economicial for the product and easy to switch from outfit to outfit. I also wanted to use it on a 55 series tractor and the starfire system was pretty expensive for that. The wires are long, but not too bad, just a looks thing. You won't regret it.
